Students may decide to look for private accommodation through real estate agents. A deposit, key money (gratuity), commission, one month’s rent in advance, facilities service charge, fire insurance, etc. must be paid at the outset.
It is recommended that students also enter into the Kyoto Regional Foreign Student’s Residence Guarantee Programme.
