1. Application Requirements
（1）Undergraduate Research Students
Must have completed 14 years of school education in their home country, or alternatively, have demonstrated comparable ability, or etc.
Must produce official result notification of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (Level 1 or N1), or the Japanese section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), or etc.
（2）Graduate Research Students
Must have completed 18 years of school education in their home country, or be considered by the university to have academic ability comparable to a university graduate.
Must be considered capable of achieving results in their research in some specific fields of
theory and practice of education．
2. Application Procedures and Criteria for Selection of Applicants
Research students will have an adviser, but will receive neither credits or degrees．Applicants
must consult with their adviser in regard to their research theme and research plan．
Selection
of the applicants to the university will be made according to a combination of the results of an interview concerning the major chosen by the applicant and their submitted documents．
Additionally，the university can set a written examination，if the need arises．
