1. Application Requirements
Those whose nationality is other than Japanese and who meet all of the following conditions
(1)and(2)may apply.
(1) Applicants must fulfill one of the following items a~c.
Must have completed( or will have completed by March 31 st) 16 years of school education in a foreign country.
Must have completed 12 years of school education in a foreign country and have graduated (or will graduate by March 31 st)from a four-year course of study at a university in Japan.
Must be 22 years of age or older and recognized by the screening committee of the home university as having academic knowledge and abilities equal to or greater than a university graduate.
*Those applying under(1)c, must receive the above recognition prior to applying.
(2)Applicants must receive a grade of at least 220 points on the Japanese language portion of the 2008 (or thereafter) Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, as deemed by the Independent Administrative Institution Japan Student Services Organization. For details refer to the "Application Forms and Information" materials.
2. Required Documents
The following documents are required for application to a graduate course.
Application Form
Graduation Diploma(original required)
Academic Transcript(s)(original required)
Application Fee (\30,000 for 2009)
Photograph
An original of grade results from the 2008 (or thereafter) Examination for University Admission for International Students.
Study Plan(forms provided by the university)
Certificate of Foreign Residents Registration (status of residence) (required for foreigners living in Japan)
Further, some of the required documents must be submitted on forms provided by the university.

All foreign language documents must be accompanied by their Japanese or English translation.
3. Criteria for Selection of Applicants
Selection of applicants will be made from consideration of all qualification requirement results.
4. Application Deadline,Examination Dates,Announcement of Results
The usual deadline for application is in mid-January of the year of admission.
Examinations are given from the beginning to the middle of February of the year of admission.
Announcement of acceptance is made in middle to late February of the year of admission.
The beginning of the academic year is early April.
5. Requests for Application Materials and Information
Details of Application Procedures,Students Selection,Admission Fees,Tuition Fees,and Admission Forms are available on request.
Requests for the application forms and information may be made by mail with a stamped, selfaddressed
envelop to the Entrance Examination Division from mid-June.
6. Others
Applicants may take the same general examinations that Japanese applicants are given in September of the year of admission.
